Why "Rim Size" Isn't important : It's All About The Wheel Diameter!

When it comes to replacing your car’s spare wheel, rim size isn’t the big deal you might think—what truly matters is the outer wheel diameter staying consistent, within a few millimeters of your cars original tyre size. The Braumach 18-inch and 19-inch Spare Wheel is engineered to fit a wide range of rim sizes, from 17" to 22", making it a versatile and reliable solution for most vehicles.

Here’s why it works:

Outer Diameter is Key: Modern cars often come with factory rim sizes ranging from 17" to 22", but the total wheel diameter (rim + tyre outer diameter) remains a close match. Larger rims pair with slimmer tyres, and smaller rims use thicker tyres, so the overall driving ride height is, give or take a few mm, the same..

Universal Fit: As long as the Braumach Spare Wheel clears your car’s brake calipers and matches your vehicle’s hub design, it’s good to go. No need to stress about rim size variations!

Broad Compatibility: Our spare wheel is designed to fit 17" to 22" rim sizes, ensuring it works seamlessly with your specific car model.

With the Braumach Spare Wheel, you get a dependable, flexible spare that prioritizes outer wheel diameter over rim size, guaranteeing a perfect fit and peace of mind on the road.

Hub Centric.. Load rated to 890 kgs…Caravan and Trailer rated

The Braumach spare wheel is currently the only hub-centric solid alloy spare wheel sold globally. This design means the load is supported by the axle, not just the wheel nuts, reducing wear and enhancing safety. The Braumach Spare wheel will fit your car like your OEM wheels do..Over time, wheels supported solely by wheel nuts can loosen. With an impressive load rating of 890 kg—matching your OEM wheel—it’s built to handle any and all conditions.

Caravan and Trailers are no problem...Yes this wheel can be placed on the back of your car even if you are towing a caravan or trailer.

Whether you’re cruising on highways or tackling rugged off-road terrain, this versatile spare wheel is engineered for both on-road and off-road vehicles. It’s a reliable backup that ensures you’re prepared for any journey, no matter where the path leads!
